Texture detail from a wall segment.

Texture detail from the floor of the intro elevator. This grate is one of my favorite parts of all the textures I made for the project.

First draft of the introduction storyboard. We decided to reduce it down just to the elevator camera moves, and some of the text cards.

An interactive environment / game created for the premier of HBO’s hit show, Game Of Thrones. The player must explore the wall and watch out for any enemy forces that attempt to cross it.

I worked with Luxurious Animals to create a convincing digital version of the iconic environment seen in the show. Since the game was developed using Away3D and Flash, the polygon count needed to be low, but we didn’t want to sacrifice visual quality. To solve that problem, I created high resolution textures to give the illusion of more complex structures, and designed and optimized each model so that it would both be quick to render and look nice.

In the final site, there are about 40-100 polygons in view at any given time, and the texture resolution for each section was 2048 x 2048.
